On August 4, the strategic cooperation signing ceremony between ZMEV and leading Nigerian mobility operator EXECUTIVE TAXI SERVICES (ETS) was successfully held at ZMEV’s headquarters in Changsha, marking a long-term in-depth partnership to develop the new energy vehicle mobility market across Nigeria.

As an integrated local mobility service provider, ETS runs a domestic ride-hailing platform and officially accredited driving academy with solid experience in passenger transport and transportation infrastructure. ZMEV boasts mature R&D capacity for NEVs, supporting charging technology and global overseas operation systems, forming strong industrial complementarity with ETS.

The cooperation covers four core business segments: electric ride-hailing fleet operation, charging infrastructure construction, professional training for EV drivers, as well as vehicle import, distribution and full after-sales services. Leveraging local resources and China’s advanced NEV technology, both parties will build complete green mobility solutions tailored for West Africa.

Following phased market trials, the two sides will carry out nationwide large-scale expansion once expected operational results are achieved, constructing nationwide EV fleets, charging networks and localized service centers. Both parties hold priority negotiation rights during the cooperation period. Jointly, they will accelerate the low-carbon transformation of Nigeria’s transport sector and further expand the global footprint of Chinese new energy vehicles across Africa.
